This exhibition is a journey which, starting from the first images of the Enlightened One created in Historical Gandhara around the first century of the Christian Era, leads to the forms imagined in the Indian Sub Continent and in South East Asia, up to the bronzes destined for the great altars of Tibetan monasteries.
