The title MATERIA e FORMA that we have chosen for the exhibition that we will present at the 2024 edition of BRAFA alludes to the fundamental relationship between the plastic power of archaic and ancient African sculptures and the material of which they are made and which represents a non-secondary reason for their appeal and artistic value.
The sculptures we will exhibit will be accompanied by large-format photographs which deepen and highlight this relationship.
